Today marks the 36th annual Edmonton Pride Festival, and we at the Theatre Alberta Library couldn’t be more proud to showcase just a few of the LGBTQ2S+ titles we have in our collection.
More new and exciting LGBTQ+ titles, such as Lisa Kron and Jeanine Tesori’s musical adaptation of Alison Bechdel’s Fun Home and Lois Fine’s Freda and Jem’s Best of the Week, are currently on order for the library. Keep an eye open for these and other Queer titles in the coming months.
We tried to represent as many identities as possible, but since the spectrum is ever expanding, we know we missed some. Please feel free to recommend any LGBTQ+ plays or playwrights so we can add every color and shade of the rainbow into our library.
