Theatre BSMT and Theatre Outre present the North American premiere of David Ian Lee’s The Curing Room. Based on actual historical events, this play chronicles the experience of seven Soviet soldiers locked naked in a monastery basement during the height of World War II with no supplies. It is a provocative, unflinching story about humans’ animalistic need for survival.
We are currently auditioning for the role of Private Niles Sukeruk. It is important that the performer be able to portray a male soldier between the ages of 45-60. If you are interested, please send a video submission featuring two contrasting monologues, along with a headshot and resume to kyle@theatrebsmt.ca.
**All characters will be fully nude for the duration of the show**
Deadline to submit: June 10, 2016.
Email submissions to Kyle Schulte at kyle@theatrebsmt.ca.
