The International Children’s Festival is looking for Site Crew Volunteers for Setup and Strike
From May 31st to June 4, 2016 over 50,000 people, young and young-at-heart, will participate in the Northern Alberta Children’s Festival of the Arts. It takes a community to put on an event of this size; hundreds of volunteers commit over 15,000 hours to making Festival magic.
We need help transforming our site into an extraordinary celebration of arts and culture, and after our 35th year comes to an end, we will need help packing it all away. Setting up and striking the Festival is a big job and we need help. We are looking for handy volunteers to work with our site crews to assist with set up and strike of the Festival site.
All you need are steel toe work boots, a multi-tool (if you have one), a great attitude and willingness to work. Shifts available:
Setup Crew:
- Sunday, May 29 & Monday, May 30: 10am – 1pm, 1pm – 4pm
Strike Crew:
- Saturday, June 4: 4:45pm – 10pm
- Sunday, June 5 & Monday, June 6: 10am – 1pm & 1pm – 4pm
