“Light in the Piazza” – Complimentary Tickets for Fort McMurray Evacuees

Theatre Calgary is happy to offer Fort McMurray evacuees complimentary tickets to any of the remaining shows of The Light in the Piazza  (running until May 22nd). If you are an evacuee, just show up in person at the Max Bell Theatre box office as early as an hour before the show starts with a piece of ID. Our thoughts are with the people of Fort McMurray and the wildfires which are devastating the town. Details on The Light in the Piazza and the remaining dates/times can be found here.

In addition to offering our neighbours tickets, from May 4th through 10th our generous patrons raised nearly $12,000 after performances to be donated to the Canadian Red Cross! We couldn’t be more proud and grateful to this amazing community.

Theatre Calgary and the Max Bell Theatre Box Office are located at 220 9th Ave SE, in Arts Commons in downtown Calgary, directly west of City Hall.
