Summer Camp Design Instructor/Facilitator Needed – Apply today!
The Citadel Theatre, one of Canada’s largest and busiest professional, not-for-profit theatre companies and facilities, has an opening for a Design Instructor/Facilitator for Summer Camps.
This is a full-time temporary position, July 4-29 and August 8-12 2016. Work with students ages 6-17 on creating design elements (simple set, prop or costume pieces) for final performances. You will collaborate with the instructors of each camp to come up with ideas for design. You will work with up to six camps per day (one hour per camp) between 9am and 4 pm and you will have a design assistant, in addition to a teaching assistant for each camp. Additional time outside of classroom hours will be required for shopping, etc. Teaching, design, and tech education and/or experience is preferred.
Salary: $1,000 per week.
