Nextfest NiteClubs holding very first Pride Night, hosted by In Arms Theatre Collective on June 4!

Celebrate Edmonton’s pride weekend with a full spectrum of Edmonton’s up and coming queer artists.

The Nextfest Nite Clubs are a series of multidisciplinary performance parties showcasing queer emerging artists of all disciplines – theatre, drag, dance, film, performance art, visual art, installations and absolutely anything else!

Performances range from 30 seconds to full evening installations and roving performances. For the purpose of this festival, “emerging” refers to artists under the age of 30 who are not professionally represented.

High energy interdisciplinary collaborations, nontraditional experimental performance and performer created work encouraged. All performers must be at least 18 years old. This event is committed to including and representing artists who identify as part of the LGBTQ*+ spectrum and other marginalized groups.

Please submit the following requirements to the Pride Night curator, at inarmstheatre@gmail.com with the subject headline “Pride Night Submission.”

• An explanation of your piece/idea,
• Technical requirements, if known,
• Contact information, including website links and twitter handle,
• Any additional support material,
• If you would like to collaborate with an artist from another discipline.
