Workshop (Sherwood Park): Grant Writing for the Arts – Arts & Culture Council of Strathcona County

Arts & Culture Council of Strathcona CountyThe Arts and Culture Council of Strathcona County (ACCSC) Hosting One-day Grant Writing Workshop.

Learn about provincial and federal funding for the arts, including how and where to apply for project-based and individual funding (i.e. travel grants, professional development, artists residencies, etc.).

The workshop will be run by former Strathcona County resident, Jenna Rodgers. Jenna is a mixed-race Director and Dramaturg, now based in Calgary. She is the Artistic Director of Chromatic Theatre – a company dedicated to producing and developing work by and for diverse artists. She is also the Associate Dramaturg at the Playwright’s Colony at the Banff Centre for the Arts. Jenna holds a MA in International Performance Research from the universities of Amsterdam and Tampere. Jenna has received grants at the municipal, provincial and federal levels for a variety of projects.

Date:  Saturday, May 14, 2016.
Time:  9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Location:  County Hall, Conference Room 1.
Cost:  Free for Members, $25 for Non-Members.
