Fringe Summer Camp for young Actors/Singers: Your chance to act in the Fringe Theatre Festival!

Young actors/singers aged 8-15 are invited to audition for a summer musical theatre camp, which will culminate in a series of performances at Edmonton’s 2016 Fringe Theatre Festival. Dramatic Learning is a company providing drama and musical theatre residencies to schools throughout Alberta. Instructors Alyson Connolly and Elaine Dunbar have years of teaching experience with actors/singers.

The musical is Hairy Tale Rock by Charlie Lovett and Bill Francoeur.

Two week rehearsal period:

Week 1, Tuesday, August 2 – Friday, August 5.
Week 2, Tuesday, August 8 – Friday, August 12.
Rehearsals will run 10am – 4pm.

The Fringe runs August 12 – 21. Exact dates of performance TBA. (Actors need to be available August 12 – 21.)

Cost: $485

Auditions: May 28 & 29.

Please prepare a short, memorized spoken piece (a poem or monologue) and a song which you will sing unaccompanied. Please no recorded accompaniment.
