What’s On (Edmonton): Archival BAM (Beings & Matter) – Mile Zero Dance

Mile Zero Dance - BAMMZD Explores Notions of Hoarding & Immediacy through Archival BAM (Beings & Matter)

An MZD mainstage production featuring choreography by Gerry Morita in collaboration with sound artist Parker Thiessen and scenographer Patrick Arès-Pilon, exploring notions of hoarding and immediacy.

This production will be an intense, devised process with the entire team collaborating around the issues/ideas/cultural phenomena of hoarding.

Intrigued by the relationships people have with their belongings, the dancers will be doing “goodbye dances” and thanking these items for their service.

Running over the course of two weekends, no two performances of BAM will be the same. Come once, come twice (come six times if you’d like). Mile Zero Dance finally has its own space to present mainstage works and you won’t want to miss this amazing production!

When: April 15-17 & 22-24, 8pm Fri/Sat & 2pm Sun.

Where: Spazio Performativo, 10816-95 Street.
