Prime Stock Theatre presents Julius Caesar, Love’s Labours Lost and Othello Audition Dates: Sunday, April 17th, from 5pm. Group call backs TBA.
Audition Requirements: e-mail Alex at info@primestocktheatre.com to book a time- include head-shot and resume (Location in Red Deer TBA). Please prepare a 1-2 minute Shakespearean monologue, and be prepared to read one of the scenes/sides of your choosing from the downloads available on Prime Stock’s website.
About Red Deer’s own Shakespeare in the Park: Julius Caesar & Love’s Labour’s Lost are cast to be performed by one ensemble in repertory on the outdoor stage at Bower Ponds, Red Deer, from July 14-31.
Othello will have a separate cast of only 5 actors, and will be performed at a smaller TBA location around Bower Ponds, from July 17-21, with a possible run at the Edmonton Fringe in August.
Please note: the Bard on Bower is an artist co-op; everyone involved is a shareholder and payment is based on how much money is made beyond the recovery of a portion of our expenses. As a co-op, the cast will have some involvement in the set up and tear down of set decorations during performances. Artist do not contribute any funds to cover any up-front expenses.
