Seeking Actors for New Comedy from GRINNING BEARD PRODUCTIONS – Not a Nefarious Plan: An Ordinary Play About Superheroes.Grinning Beard Productions is seeking actors for a new comedy premiering at the 2016 Edmonton International Fringe Festival.

Performance dates: August 11-21, 2016 (Edmonton International Fringe Festival).
Casting Breakdown:
- MEGAFREAK: 18-25, female. A high school student. Sensitive, sarcastic, guarded. Power: Telekinesis. PATIENT X: 21+, any gender. A struggling musician. Idealistic, compassionate, flighty. Power: Super-strength. *Must play an instrument.
- DRILLBIT: 18+, any gender. A rig worker. Excitable, arrogant, driven. Power: Rapid vibration turning body parts into tools.
- DEB: 35+, female. Megafreak’s mother. Pragmatic, capable, protective. Power: Mom voice.
