Seeking Assistant Professor of Drama with a generalist background in theatre and performance studies.

The successful candidate will:
- Teach a range of courses in drama including dramatic process and improvisation, scene study, devised theatre, public speaking, oral interpretation, introduction to theatre, and play analysis.
- Direct student productions, working with student actors and crew with a wide range of previous theatre experience.
- Supervise undergraduate student research and theatre practice and contribute to the operational activities of the Drama program and Fine Arts Department including meetings, coordination of department activities, and future planning for the development of the drama program.
- Be responsible for establishing and maintaining an active and externally funded research program.
The normal teaching assignment is 4 courses per semester; however, applying for a reduction in teaching for research purposes is encouraged. In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to take on academic administrative duties and be committed to building relationships with faculty, staff, students, and the broader community. There will be opportunities to build on existing programs and course offerings.
