TWO ONE-WAY TICKETS TO BROADWAY PRODUCTIONS SOCIETY – CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS!Two ONE-WAY Tickets to Broadway Productions Society (TOWTTB) is inviting members of the public to serve on our Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is made up of committed members of the community who are passionate about what we do. Board Members need not have theatre experience, but should have a demonstrated interest in the arts in Edmonton, are team players, collaborative, and committed to participate in Board discussions and activities. TOWTTB values incoming Board Members that show leadership and/or any specific skills/knowledge/experience that would be of value. Enthusiasm and a desire to contribute to the functioning of TOWTTB are the most valuable assets we seek in any board member. The term of office is two years. At a minimum, the Board meets six times per year, as well as potential for sitting on Board committees and working groups.
Currently in our tenth season of bringing Broadway’s best musicals to Edmonton, TOWTTB is a not-for-profit Canadian semi-professional theatre company that fills a niche in our theatre rich city. We bridge the gap between community and professional theatre. We provide opportunities to emerging artists, designers and directors.
TOWTTB seeks to develop the art of musical theatre to a high level of artistic excellence. Our focus is to achieve and maintain this excellence by continuing our policy of artistic growth, exploration and awareness, utilizing the resources of our local talent base. We seek to enrich, challenge, connect, create and inspire all those involved in our productions.
