• We are thrilled to welcome back Byron Martin and Erik Mortimer of Grindstone Theatre to teach our two-week Musical Theatre Intensive for ages 15-17 this summer, July 4-15.
• We’re teaming up with Rapid Fire Theatre to present Kidprovisors – a spring improv course for ages 6-12 that ends in a performance with members of RFT in the Zeidler!
• We’re teaming up with Thou Art Here Theatre to present Shakespeare Class for Spring for ages 14-17 and Camps for Summer for ages 11-14 and 15-17. No previous Shakespeare experience needed!
• We’re teaming up with the Centre for Autism Services to present a week-long Summer Drama Camp for Teens with Autism. This is in addition to our I Can Pretend! Classes for ages 5-12 that start in April.
• For the first time we are presenting two Adult Weekend Intensives with Scott Swan. One weekend will focus on Monologues and one on Scenes, both using his time-tested methods. Take one or both!
• For the first time ever we are offering Comedy & Laughter class for Adults! This is a favorite of ours and our students, taught by Eileen Sproule. Learn all about various forms of comic performance and have a great time doing so!

The Foote Theatre School (FTS) is the oldest and largest theatre school in Edmonton. Since 1966 we have provided year round classes for all ages and experience levels, teaching physical, technical and creative skills in both acting and musical theatre. Over 1,000 students annually are taught by our faculty of 25 local theatre professionals. We offer the largest theatre education program in Edmonton and one of the largest in Canada.
