The Odd-Lot Puppetry Co. is Canada’s fastest growing manufacturer of puppets and specialty masks. Utilizing a small team of Alberta-based artists, The Odd-Lot Puppetry Co. creates colourful and dynamic moving pieces of art for theatre, film and television. Aside from fabrication services, The Odd-Lot also creates unique, fully customized performances and continues to create brand-new shows for events produced across Canada. With a growing international client list, their professional quality, highly-detailed puppets will be seen in use this coming year by companies in Texas, New York and Hawaii (to name a few!) 2016 marks a new era for the Odd-Lot Puppetry Co. with the launch of their subsidiary company CanScare, which will be dedicated to the production of high quality Halloween specialty costumes and props.


** Currently located in St Albert, AB, The Odd-Lot Puppetry Co. will be relocating to it’s new, downtown Edmonton location in the Spring of 2016. **

Position: Administrative Assistant & Shipping Coordinator

We are looking for a business-minded individual to assist with day-to-day office administration tasks for our growing company. This position will report directly to the owner and creative director and will work in tandem with him to coordinate tasks to meet the needs of our growing client base. The option to work remotely will be considered for the right fit. 


Duties will include: 

• Client relations
• Administrative support (telephone and email)
• Finances support

• Scheduling shipments of rental items and retail sales
• Shipping and receiving, packing rental items and retail sales

Preference will be given to business-minded individuals. Business students welcome to apply.

Hours: approx. 25/hrs week.

Three month probationary period, wages negotiable based on experience and availability. Potential to lead to full time position. Benefits optional after probationary period.
