Workshop (Calgary): Year of the Monkey – Puppet Pop-up Studio

Inspired by the Chinese astrological calendar and the upcoming Chinese New Year,

Puppet Pop-Up Studio will be making monkey puppets from paper and cord. Learn a couple of basic knots, some paper sculpture techniques and braiding. Put it all together with a monkey story and monkey see what you can do! Please note that children and teens must participate with an adult or senior.

When: Saturday, January 16, 1-3pm

Puppet Pop-Up Studio is a monthly puppet making and performing workshop held on the third Saturday of each month at different locations in Calgary. We actively promote the participation of all family members, youngsters and elders, in creating art and drama together and accommodate all skills and ages, with a different theme each month.
