What’s On (Edmonton): Play Reading at the Script Salon – PGC, APN, Holy Trinity Anglican Church

Script-SalonChristmas is a time for family and family disfunction in December’s comedic SCRIPT SALON

On Sunday, December 6, SCRIPT SALON presents a heart warming and hilarious Christmas visit with an eccentric blended family in Reed McColm’s TOGETHER AGAIN FOR THE FIRST TIME.

THE STORY: For Christmas this year, Max and Audrey Frobisher are welcoming home all their near-adult children — her two sons, and his three daughters. It will be the first time the entire clan will be together since the couple’s wedding seven years ago. Along with a now-ex girlfriend, and an unexpected fiancé, everyone brings surprise agendas and scores to settle. There’s no place like home for the holidays.

The play is read by Garett Ross, Davina Stewart, Luc Tellier, Ellie Heath, Kristi Hansen, Mat Busby, Jenna Dykes-Busby, Daniel Greenaways and Bridget Lyne.

WHEN: Sunday December 6 at 7:30

WHERE: The Upper Arts Space at Holy Trinity Anglican Church (10037 84 Avenue).

Admission is free however donations are accepted. Refreshments will be provided. Parking is free.

After the reading the audience is encouraged to ask questions and provide commentary directly to the playwright.

SCRIPT SALON is sponsored and supported by the Playwrights Guild of Canada, Alberta Playwrights Network and Holy Trinity Anglican Church.
