Feeling overwhelmed? Exhausted? Stressed? You aren’t alone. Artists are experiencing burn out due to long hours, multiple projects at once, financial insecurity, and much more.

Join Theatre Edmonton Project for our Anti-Burn Out Day to focus on self-care and participate in some fun non-theatre activities to refresh and replenish.
Here’s what you can look forward to:
1:00 PM Doors
1:30 PM Self-care Keynote with Deepika Mittra, BSW, MSc, RSw (Stress Expert and Self Care Advocate) http://www.openingspaces.ca/about/deepika-mittra/
2:30 PM – 4:30 PM An afternoon of non-theatre activities including:
– An hour long yoga class lead by Jessica Peverett
– Board Games with Joel Taras
– Anti-Anxiety Coloring Books All are welcome at this community-wide event.
If you plan to participate in the yoga class, please wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat and water bottle.
This a FREE EVENT but donation jars will be available to help cover the venue and guest speaker.
