Warning: Impulse to laugh may not wear off until the next day!
We create an adventurous, safe, and friendly atmosphere in our monthly workshops, in which to learn about and explore improvisation. People with all levels of experience are welcome.
We are beginning to build an ensemble and are looking for new people to join us.
Tim Kubasek, our facilitator and leader is not only funny but creates a safe and inspiring environment where people feel free to take creative risks. Tim is a stand-up comedian who also performs as an actor and improviser.

About the Insight Actors Group
The Insight Actors Group is a participatory community of film and theatre actors in Edmonton, Alberta. This group was co-founded in May 2010 by Elaine Elrod and our acting coach Timothy Anderson. In the past, we have met for workshops with guest directors and other artists, readings, and work on scenes and monologues. One of our readings evolved into a full scale production and film. Currently, we are meeting regularly to do improvisation with our guest facilitator Tim Kubasek. If there is enough interest, we may also meet to work on scenes and monologues and for additional acting workshops.
For more information, feel free to contact Elaine Elrod on Facebook or through email at elaine@actingandtheatre.com.
