Major Announcement!

On October 13th, Canada’s largest stage, the National Arts Centre (NAC), announced to a circle of Indigenous artists that the NAC is introducing a third season to accompany their English and French Theatre – Indigenous Theatre.

President and CEO of Canada’s National Arts Centre, Peter Herrndorf, addressed the Indigenous artists previously engaged by the NAC to make this announcement:

2019 NAC Indigenous Theatre’s First Season

After a collaboration with the Indigenous Performing Arts Alliance and Debajehmujig Storytellers called The Cycle: Indigenous Theatre, the commitment of the NAC says, “Canada is our stage.”
