Theatre Alberta’s Library is participating in Outside the Lines library awareness week this year, and we want you to join the celebration!
Outside the Lines is a weeklong celebration to reconnect people with the creativity, technology, discovery and all of the fun and unexpected experiences happening in libraries today. More than 250 organizations across North America are participating this year from September 13-19, 2015.
To celebrate, we’ve launched the Blue Bag Book Club! Sign up and we’ll mail you (free-of-charge) up to 10 randomly selected plays by Canadian playwrights. Once you receive your plays, please email us or tweet us (@TheatreAlberta) a photo of the books. (Selfies are encouraged!) The photo could be taken in your home, or out in your community, or at a popular theatre venue or stage nearby – our intention is to showcase the vastness of Alberta’s theatre community!
To sign up: please email library@theatrealberta.com with “Blue Bag Book Club” in the subject line, and the number of plays you would like us to send you. You must be a Theatre Alberta member to receive books. For this event, we will also mail books to our Edmonton-based members!
