KATHERINE KOLLER NAVIGATES A JOURNEY OF HOPE AND HEALING IN SEPTEMBER’S SCRIPT SALON

On Sunday September 6 at 7:30 PM SCRIPT SALON will present a moving new play by Katherine Koller that uses the river and Alberta geography to explore themes of redemption, rediscovery and family. Riverkeeper is a compelling and touching journey of the heart and soul.

THE STORY: Sixty year old River (Coralie Cairns) conjures her young thirty-something parents to ask her questions, relive their journey, and find the way to let them go in a private ritual of healing on the river.  By canoeing down and reading the river, she creates an unfolding narrative of history, memory and imagination.

Read by Lora Brovold, Coralie Cairns, and Garett Ross.
Sunday September 6 at 7:30
in the Upper Arts Space at Holy Trinity Anglican Church (10037 84 Avenue).
Admission is free although donations are accepted. Refreshments will be provided. Parking is free.

After the reading the audience is encouraged to ask questions and provide commentary directly to the playwright.

SCRIPT SALON is sponsored and supported by the Playwrights Guild of Canada, Alberta Playwrights Network and Holy Trinity Anglican Church.
