SEX & THE CITY  MEETS LAUGH-IN !

Groovy 60s inspired musical coming back to Edmonton for Fringe

Round Barn Productions presents SHOUT! The Mod Musical, a celebration of the music of the sixties, at the 34th annual Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival. Tickets available now through the Fringe Festival Box Office, www.fringetheatre.ca.

SHOUT! is a high-energy journey through the infectious and soulful pop anthems and ballads that made household names of stars like Petula Clark, Dusty Springfield and Lulu. In this Austin Powers-like musical, hits like “To Sir With Love,” “Downtown,” “You Don’t Have to Say You Love Me,” and “Son of A Preacher Man,” frame the journey of five women during the liberating days of the 1960s.

Round Barn Productions first brought SHOUT! to Edmonton in January 2015 for a limited 4-night run, receiving fab reviews:
“…the ladies of Shout! give a great performance and you can’t help but sit there with a silly grin on your face and move to the beat.” –After the House Lights
“[the cast] sang like angels together.” –Colin Maclean, Edmonton Sun

SHOUT! features five power house Edmonton-based performers: Leslie Caffaro, Nicole English, Kristen M. Finlay, Erin Foster-O’Riordan, and Monica Roberts. These five ladies have graced stages across the country in musicals, plays, and improv; and their musical and comic talents combine in SHOUT! for a hilarious, harmonious good time.

Round Barn Productions’ presentation of SHOUT! The Mod Musical runs at Venue #5—King Edward School, and tickets are $13 (plus fees and taxes) through the Fringe Festival Box Office: www.fringetheatre.ca.
