Quest Theatre is thrilled to announce Iam Coulter as its newly appointed Director of Education, Development and Outreach. Also joining the company’s administration team, is Quest residency artist Scott Roberts, who was recently named Tour and Residency Coordinator.

Calgary’s arts community previously knew Iam Coulter, a skilled teaching artist and Shakespeare advocate, as the artistic producer of The Shakespeare Company. Iam has spent recent years investing her creative energy into arts education. She is delighted to be putting her passion and experience to work in a newly created position with Quest Theatre.

“It’s invigorating to join a team of dedicated and inspired artists who share a common dream. Everyone at Quest believes in the importance of all children having the opportunity to experience the transformative power of the arts. I cannot think of a more worthy cause to dedicate myself to.”

Scott Roberts, who has worked as a residency artist with Quest Theatre since 2009, has proven himself invaluable in his commitment to the company’s mandate and vision. His experience and dedication make Scott uniquely qualified to fill this essential role within the organization.

“After many years with Quest as both artist and residency leader, I’m excited to embark on this new journey. I look forward to working with schools, students, and stakeholders to bring creativity and learning to classrooms across Alberta”.

About Quest Theatre: Quest Theatre’s vision is to nurture young people through exceptional adventures in theatre, globally. Our mandate is to serve as a catalyst for creative communication, co-operation, and change. The Quest experience enhances ones sense of self, engages individuals with issues in their communities, and fosters ongoing connections to the performing arts.
