SHAKESPEARE WORKSHOP
Directors of London, England based Elizabethan theatre company Malachite Theatre will be working with Albertan actors of all ages and abilities in a one day introductory workshop. The workshop will approach Shakespeare’s text in research, rehearsal, and performance with a view to mounting productions in the near future.
Fresh from their recent 5 STAR run of King Lear at the historic Rose Playhouse, Bankside, starring BAFTA nominee John McEnery in the title role, The Malachites bring their expertise to Shakespeare in Canada.
Workshop will take place in Red Deer between 10-6pm on Thursday August 13th, 2015.
