Seeking Outgoing and Energetic Hosts for Escape Room Game
Are you an enthusiastic people-person looking for a fun and exciting opportunity to flex your dramatic abilities and entertain the public? As a host at SmartyPantz, you will be responsible for creating an immersive and enjoyable experience for guests while they solve physical puzzles to ‘escape’ themed rooms, as well as handling bookings and resetting props and puzzles in between games. With several distinct scenarios and a steady stream of new guests, this position offers plenty of room to improvise and apply your creative talent and quick wit in a lively and entertaining atmosphere. We are committed to a culture of fun not just for customers, but for staff as well, and are seeking positive and friendly individuals interested in contributing to that end.
Qualifications:
-Strong acting and improv abilities required. Interactive theatre experience would be considered an asset.
-Exceptional customer service ability and desire to ensure that every client has a great time.
-Computer literacy and ability to become proficient with booking and point of sales systems and social media.
-Punctuality, good work ethic and positive attitude.
-Mechanical skill would an asset (for maintenance and minor repairs of sets puzzles).
Hours of Work:
-This position requires shift work including evenings and weekends.
-Employment would initially be extended on a part-time basis, with opportunity for increased hours.
Wage:
SmartyPantz offers a competitive initial hourly rate of $15/hour. Business growth will offer opportunities for committed employees to assume greater responsibilities at higher pay grades.
