Audition (Edmonton): Café Daughter – Workshop West Playwrights’ Theatre

WWPT_CafeDaughterWorkshop West Playwrights’ Theatre is holding auditions for Alberta-based actors for the role of Yvette in Café Daughter by Kenneth T. Williams, directed by Lisa C. Ravensbergen.

Based on the true story of Senator Lillian Eva Quan Dyck, Café Daughter is the powerful, funny and touching tale of one woman’s journey to reclaim her heritage. Produced in association with Alberta Aboriginal Arts.

Workshop West is committed to diversity in its casting. We are specifically looking for a female actor from either the Indigenous or Asian communities to play both male and female characters ranging in age from 9 – 60. Preference will be given to those performers living in Alberta.
