The Alberta Foundation for the Arts recently switched to an online application system known as GATE (Grants Application Tracking and Evaluation). Here are a few things you need to know:
- You will require a GATE Username and Password. Please email registrationAFA@gov.ab.ca at least five (5) business days prior to the application deadline. In your email, include your legal name, the grant you are applying for and your email address.
- You will receive an email containing your username and password, and instructions on how to complete the application process, including how to create a profile. You can update your profile at any time, and can use this same profile to apply for future grants.
- The GATE system can only accept attachments up to 4MB. You must submit any support material larger than that (e.g. recorded materials) via regular mail. Please include your name and project number.
If you have any questions, please contact the Consultant for the program you are applying for.
Upcoming deadlines:
September 1 Individual Project Grants (all disciplines)
