News (Lethbrige): New West Theatre announces 2015-2016 season

For a quarter of a century, New West Theatre has been an iconic piece of the Lethbridge community. What started as a dream of putting on one entertaining summer production has grown into a full-fledged professional theatre organization with a mandate to produce a wide range of shows for our audiences. With each new season we work hard to dream big and create shows that allow you to leave your troubles at the door, and experience something that is truly spectacular.

We’re a theatre built on dreams from the ground up. The cast and crew for each of our productions strive to bring smiles and laughter to the thousands of patrons that come through our doors. Each of these people have come with dreams big and small, and many of those dreams have started while sitting in our audience. When new and young artists debut with New West Theatre, we often find out that they have been dreaming of being on our stage after coming to our shows for years. That’s why we love putting on our wild and wacky shows; so your family can come dream with ours.

This season we keep dreaming big with three all-new and original Music-Comedy Revues. Additionally, we have the professional premiere of a brand new Canadian play created by New West Theatre alumni that is going to knock your socks off, and the world premiere of a new play for children written by our former Artistic Director Jeremy Mason.

Last season we looked back at an amazing 25 years in Lethbridge, but this season New West Theatre is dreaming of the bright future we have ahead of us. With dreams as big as the legacy we’ve created, we’re excited to continue producing the live theatre you’ve come to know and love!

Start dreaming here.
