Help Downstage create a Pay-It-Forward fund!
Would you like to see more arts experiences offered free of charge? Downstage is embarking on an exciting new approach to ticketing to help us bring new people to plays that will be directly relevant to their lives.
We know that for our work to be truly impactful, we need to attract an audience that reflects the demographic diversity of our city. And we know we want to introduce new people to theatrical experiences that are going to be meaningful to them. But how?
Right now we’re running an online campaign to raise an initial fund for what we’re calling the Downstage Pay-It-Forward Program. The program will offer a limited of tickets to Downstage productions free-of-charge for those that need it. Thanks to Olivia Brooks, Ann Connors, Maura Graham, Brenda Lang, Eric Moschopedis, Ron & Enola Schmitz, Michael Tan, Maria Vaccaro, Aviva Zimmerman and our anonymous donors who have helped us to already reach 34% of our funding goal!
