Medicine Hat Firehall Theatre Audition Call for Mary Poppins the Musical to be held May 8 and 9 at St. Patrick’s Church, the one on the north side of the river with the tall spire, 238 – 2 Ave NE. Drive into the parking lot and enter the door, towards the north end, which leads to the basement.
May 8 – 7:00 – 10:00 PM for lead roles
chimney sweeps – teenage to adult
May 9 – 3:00 – 5:00 children ages 8 to teenage
– 6:00 – 9:00 for chorus and anyone else except for children
Those who are auditioning will be asked to sing a song of about 1 to 1 1/2 minutes long, your choice. They will also be asked to do a reading and there will be some choreography.
A piano is available for accompaniment, you may sing acapella, or bring your own accompaniment.
May 19 will be for call backs, from the director and her crew, as well as those who could not come to the May 8 and 9 dates , but the latter must contact us to let us know that they are coming. Click here for the Facebook Audition event.
