All Cultivate program guidelines and new Deaf and disability Guidebook now available!
Equity is a core value in our current programs and future organizational directions. We are delighted to share the final components of our Cultivate program as well as Expanding the Arts: A Guidebook for Working with Artists who are Deaf or have Disabilities.
About Cultivate
In the fall of 2014, the Canada Council released Cultivate, a pilot program nurturing diversity in the arts. This initiative will continue to inform our thinking as we transition towards a new funding model.
Creative and Professional Development Grants are specifically targeted to artists and arts professionals who are Deaf or have disabilities (including those living with mental illness).
2015 Guidelines for all four streams are now available online:
Deadline: Anytime after April 1
Deadline: September 15, 2015
About the Guidebook
This is an outstanding resource for organizations large and small who are seeking to implement more equitable practices into their workplace, programs, services and events. We are delighted to make it publicly available for you.
