Monday, May 4 & Tuesday, May 5, 2015
10:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Citadel Theatre, 2nd Floor, Classrooms

The auditions will be organized into twelve-minute slots. Actors are asked to prepare one full musical theatre piece as well as a short comedic monologue. An accompanist will be provided.

Interviews will be scheduled throughout the day. Please bring a musical theatre piece to perform. You may also be asked to sight-read.

Alberta Opera is celebrating its 32nd season with an exciting new musical adaptation of The Steadfast Tin Soldier.
(Music by Jeff Unger, Book by Farren Timoteo)

The Steadfast Tin Soldier begins rehearsal on September 28, 2015 and makes its world debut on October 16, 2015 at the Westbury Theatre before embarking on a vast tour of Alberta’s elementary schools, which concludes in June 2016.

This production will be directed by Farren Timoteo, with Musical Direction by Jeff Unger.
