Design and Production
3-Year Term
The University of Lethbridge, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Theatre and Dramatic Arts invites applications for a 3-year term appointment in Design and Production at the rank of Instructor, commencing July 1, 2015. This position is subject to the approval of the Board of Governors.
Applicants should hold a terminal degree in Theatre/Dramatic Arts and a record of professional theatre activity. Applicants must possess experience in costume design, garment construction and stage makeup; proficiency in additional design areas is beneficial. The University aspires to hire individuals who have demonstrated excellence in teaching and research/creative activity.
The successful candidate will teach courses in costume design, production and other topics in her or his area of expertise, and will also design for the Department’s productions. Active contribution to the Department of Theatre and Dramatic Arts and the Faculty of Fine Arts is expected.
The Faculty of Fine Arts offers degree programs in Drama, Art, Music and New Media within a liberal education context and focuses on excellence in teaching and research/creative activity.
