Evergreen Theatre will hold General Auditions for the 2015/16 season
on Thursday May 7 and Friday May 8 2015.

Evergreen Theatre is hiring for touring actors and residency artists for our 2015/16 season. Please indicate if you are applying for one or both of these positions in your submission.

Touring actors: Please prepare one song (under 2 mins) that showcases your voice and range, and one monologue (under 2 mins) appropriate to the TYA genre.

Residency artists: Please prepare one monologue (under 2 mins) appropriate to the TYA genre, and a classroom game/activity appropriate for Div 1 that explores the process of photosynthesis.

All applicants must have a valid Alberta Driver’s License and a clean driver’s abstract. If hired, applicants must be willing to provide a police check. Artists are responsible for finding their own accommodations in Calgary. For all out-of-town tours and residencies, accommodations and meal per diems are provided. Evergreen Theatre pay rates are competitive with Equity standards.

2015 Emerge participants are welcome to submit for General Auditions.

If you have worked for Evergreen Theatre in the past, you are not required to audition. Instead, please submit a letter of interest.

Deadline for applications is 5pm Friday April 17.
You will receive a reply within one week of the deadline confirming an audition time and details.
Please be advised that audition slots are limited.
