Resource (Alberta): Theatre, Teens, Sex Ed – University of Alberta Press

The University of Alberta Press has recently published Theatre, Teens, Sex Ed: Are We There Yet? by Jan Selman and Jane Heather. This book should be of particular interest to those studying theatre, sex education, sociology, and public health.

Theatre, Teens, Sex Ed takes an extensive look at participatory theatre and methods for effectively teaching sex education to teens. It includes a copy of Jane Heather’s award-winning play Are We There Yet?, as well as the video productions and photographs on a pocketed DVD.
