Pumphouse Theatre Announces New Studio Configuration: The Shed
Pumphouse Theatres Society is pleased to announce a new studio configuration of the Victor Mitchell Theatre. This new configuration utilizes the existing performance space and transforms it into a 150 seat theatre, called THE SHED. The name is a nod to our roots, as the theatre that became known as the Victor Mitchell, began in 1972 as a converted-vehicle-shed-turned-performance-venue called “The Shed” and was the site of thousands of performances, and the birthplace of several companies in the early days of Calgary theatre.
The Shed is available for rent with the following rates:
- Rehearsal/Dark Day $225.00
- One Performance in a Day $375.00
- Two Performances in a Day $600.00
