Call for Interested Participants for MacEwan West (Jasper Place Campus)
The City of Edmonton is in the process of purchasing MacEwan University’s west campus and is expected to take ownership of the building in 2017.
The City hopes to re-purpose this facility into a City-owned, partner-operated community hub with a focus on the arts, multi-cultural and not-for-profit uses. The City is currently seeking interest from community-based organizations that may be interested in operating the MacEwan West facility in conjunction with the City of Edmonton.
We want to be certain that all interested parties are at the discussion table from the start of business and operational planning, so that discussions of the future of and vision for this facility are as robust and inclusive as possible.
To do this, we need your help.
We ask that you share this message with your networks and request that parties or organizations with an interest in being a major tenant of MacEwan West identify themselves before March 16, 2015 to:

By ensuring all interested parties are included in important foundational discussions, we can move forward on MacEwan West project with full confidence that all partnering options are being considered.
The City of Edmonton looks forward to working with community members and stakeholders to integrate their perspectives into the long-term revitalization plans for the facility, as well as its discussions with community organizations interested in its operation.
