Brenda McNicol Stepping Down

After eighteen years with Catalyst Theatre, Brenda McNicol is stepping down effective February 13th to focus full time on her family. Brenda has been most closely associated with Catalyst Theatre’s fundraisers, including the annual Over The Edge with 4 Play, which has tripled its net revenue under her leadership. She traveled extensively with the company, taking care of the artists and ensuring everyone’s comfort. She has been present at most of Catalyst performances during her time with the company and has probably seen more Catalyst shows than any other person, including Jonathan Christenson! 

Although Brenda never wanted it known while she was working with Catalyst Theatre, the company wants to acknowledge that Brenda and her husband Dr. Keith McNicol have been lead donors to Catalyst for many years, and have also been regular donors to many other arts organizations. Far more than a co-worker, Brenda has been the heart of the company for these many years, and is a wonderful friend to  Catalyst, and to so many in the theatre community.
