Current Auditions – From Cradle to Stage 2015 (Feb 15-16)
Walterdale Theatre is holding auditions for our two selections for this year’s FROM CRADLE TO STAGE. Here are the selections:
JESUS MASTER BUILDER

Synopsis
Full of tongue-in-cheek humour, this irreverent comedy follows Jesus of Nazareth as he struggles to keep both of his dads happy. While Joseph wants Jesus to get into the family business of carpentry, God has very different plans. Can Jesus complete the new housing development that Joseph has won a contract for AND make his other dad proud? What a cross to bear!

Rehearsals for Jesus Master Builder
Rehearsals will begin Sunday, March 1. Rehearsals will be on Sunday, Monday & Wednesday evenings, and will increase closer to performance dates. All actors must be fully available from May 10 – 23 for tech week and all performances.

Rehearsals for Magpies
Rehearsals will begin at the beginning of March, with more specific information to follow. They will be conducted every Sunday and Thursday evening, and will increase closer to performance dates. All actors must be fully available for all performances.
Audition Requirements for both pieces
– Monologue & Joke – Maximum 2 minute contemporary monologue and a joke of your choice (something clean-ish preferred)
– CALL-BACKS (if required): Wednesday, February 18th between 7:00 – 10:00 p.m. Walterdale Theatre.
