Soulocentric & Bach Tots: Performing Arts for Young Children

Soulocentric Performing Arts is hosting dance auditions for emerging and professional dancers. We are currently casting for our dance for young audiences division called Bach Tots: Performing Arts for Young Children. Dancers are being considered for our spring show (May 2015) and our Edmonton Fringe show Aug 13-23, 2015. Opportunities are paid (rates vary). Rehearsal schedules tend to be flexible, and performances primarily occur Thurs, Friday and Saturdays during the morning and afternoons.

Auditions will be held Feb 16 and/or 17th from 1-3 pm at West Village Theatre (formerly Dancer’s Studio West – 2007 10 Ave SW, Calgary, AB).

Bach Tots produces a regular season of short, interactive performances for families with very young children. Ballet training (particularly Ballet Pointe) and acting skills are an asset, but dancers from all disciplines are welcome to apply. Experience teaching dance to young children is also an asset.

Dancers who audition will also be considered for the 2015-16 performance season roster including, our ever popular Nutcracker in a Nutshell, and school touring shows. For more information on Bach Tots, and Soulocentric Performing Arts please visit www.soulocentric.org.
