Volunteer Opportunity with SkirtsAfire-HerArts Festival!!!

SkirtsAfire is looking for Volunteers for this year’s, 2015 festival!

SkirtsAfire is a festival that empowers, supports, and celebrates women in the arts. The festival creates a platform for women’s stories and showcases the female voice through performance, visual arts, and music.

This year we are looking to assemble another amazing team of volunteers, to fan the festival’s flames! Our festival is growing and we hope you will be a part of it! We thank all of our volunteers in advance for helping us make it all happen!

In 2015, the SkirtsAfire will be premiering a new play, The Mothers, from February 26th to March 8th, with the last four days taking place during the SkirtsAfire Festival. Volunteer shifts vary per day and venue.

Volunteers are asked to commit to 2 shifts from Feb 26th to March 8th.

Volunteer positions:

-Box Office
-50/50 (18+ only)
-Concession/Bar (18+ only)
-Usher

Perks:

– Pop and popcorn during each shift
– An invite to a volunteer appreciation performance of The Mothers on February 25th
– An invite to the Artist Party and the Volunteer Appreciation event on Sunday, March 8th at the end of the festival.
