Goldilocks and the Three Bears Description
The B’Hare family of bears loves living in the woods. When a morning starts off frantically, the bears are thrown off of their normal routine. While they tend to yard work, a local burglar, Goldilocks, breaks into their house. Through a series of near misses, mistaken identities and musical numbers, Goldilocks tries her best to get away with theft and the bears keenly search for the culprit that took their things! A fun filled modern musical spin on the classic tale that makes you question what was Goldilocks REALLY doing in the BHare’s house?

ROLES
Goldilocks – Blond Hair, small in stature. Goldilocks is a street-smart teenager who thinks she knows it all. She is a popular girl who is rebelling against her mother to get attention. Although she isn’t a smart criminal she is a bright young lady who is very bright.

Baby Bear – Innocent and young hearted. Baby bear is about the same size as Goldilocks but would be more in the tween age child as supposed to a teenager. She is full of enthusiasm and doesn’t hesitate to show her family how much she appreciates them.

Mama Bear – Middle aged and somewhat tacky in her taste of style. The leader of the family and the one who keeps things together but she loves doing it. A huge fan of Barry Manilow and an avid knitter, she embodies the best of all the moms that are held up as ideal examples of motherhood.

Papa Bear – Middle aged and not afraid to just chill while the world goes about it’s business around him. He considers himself at one with nature and is the rock that the family looks to when trouble hits. He is helpful and willing but at times needs some prodding.

Note: ALL performers have to be comfortable singing, being able to move (dance) and interact with children.

Roles are not age specific but actors must be over 18.
