Anne Marie Szucs – supplied

The Board of Directors of Walterdale Theatre are delighted to introduce Walterdale’s next Artistic Director for the 2015/2016 and 2016/2017 theatre seasons – Anne Marie Szucs.

Anne Marie has been actively involved in the community and independent theatre scene since moving to the Edmonton area in 2006. Her range of theatre activities is varied and include being a director, actor, playwright, and board member. She is a keen supporter of local theatre and is the co-founder of the Finally Sauces production company.

Anne Marie’s Walterdale credits include directing The Weir and Much Ado about Nothing; acting in Nine and Pieces; and playwright of the one-act Crack, which was a part of the 2012 Cradle to Stage readings. We look forward to the exciting seasons that Anne Marie will bring to Walterdale as well as her passion and experience that will undoubtedly help Walterdale’s community continue to grow.

Anne Marie was a board member of Theatre Alberta from 2008 – 2012. Congratulations – we look forward to working with you in this new role!
