We are seeking a drama instructor to come in and direct our youth in a production.

All rehearsals and performances would be at the Hillhurst Sunnyside Community Centre.

The youth would be ages: kindergarten-grade 6.

There would be 20 – 30 kids participating in the production (this is open to discussion)
During rehearsals and production, the director would have the support of the after school staff in managing the show and the kids.
They will also take care of all props, costumes and set that’s required.

They are looking to begin rehearsals in January 2015 (after the 12th or later) and to have a final production ready for late March 2015.
For rehearsals, they would have to be between the times of 4:15pm at the earliest and ending at 6:00pm at the latest, either once or twice a week on any weekday from Monday to Friday.
They are very flexible with the schedule.

The rate of pay is $40 an hour.

For the final production, they are hoping to have a 45-60 min. long play to present to family and friends.
They have not yet decided what play to do this year, that is something that can be discussed.
