APN RBC Emerging Artists Mentorship Program
Based on information gathered through our Membership Survey in 2014, we are happy to announce a new program designed to provide individual and project development through mentorship from our roster of professional playwrights. The program is meant to support emerging and mid-career playwrights who have a dedication to refining their craft, their product and the art of playwriting.
The Program
Applications for the program will be accepted until Monday, January 5, 2015.
Participants must come with a play or an idea for a play which they wish to work on through the mentorship.
Participants must have participated in the Act One program in the past five years.
Participants will be selected by the Mentorship Committee and APN Staff.
There are 9 available spots (4 in Calgary, 4 in Edmonton & 1 in Central Alberta).
The cost per participant is $200.00
Mentors include: Meg Braem, Marty Chan, Conni Massing, Kim McCaw, Blaine Newton, Mieko Ouchi, Gordon Pengilly, Sharon Pollock & Caroline Russell-King.
