Improvisational Styles in Edmonton
On November 9, University of Lethbridge instructor Nicholas Hanson travelled to Edmonton to work with the ensemble at Rapid Fire Theatre to explore improvisational styles. The group will use well-known playwrights from different eras as inspiration, and attempt to improvize in the style of each writer’s canon.
Finding Your Character Body in Camrose
Lynda Adams travelled from Red Deer to Camrose on November 15 to teach a workshop on Finding Your Character Body for About Time Productions. Lynda is a Red Deer College instructor who is a professional director, choreographer, performer, and movement specialist – a perfect fit for this type of work!
Upcoming workshops:
The Klaglahachie Fine Arts Society in Ponoka will be hosting a workshop on Stage Lighting later this month.
