Facility & Box Office Attendant (Part-time)
Calgary Community Theatre Ltd (CCTL) manages the Beddington Heights Community Arts Centre as a centre for community activities with a focus on the performing arts. We are recruiting a part-time Facility Attendant. The hours are in the evenings and weekends, typically one to three shifts per week depending on how busy the facility is.

Responsibilities

• Key holder responsibilities
• Check tenants in and out of the building
• Answer tenant queries and concerns about the facility
• Answer inquiries over the phone
• Sell show tickets to patrons using theatre manager
• Run the box office when there is a performance in the theatre
• Supervise building to ensure security
• Occasional minor janitorial duties
• Collect payments, issue receipts, manage cash
• Lock up at the end of the night

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to be understood over the phone in English
• Customer-oriented focus
• Excellent at multitasking
• Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner
• Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as a team member
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Mature, trustworthy, reliable and punctual
• Use of Mac OS, MS Office
• Knowledge of Theatre Manager Software an asset
