Colleen Murphy

Congratulations to Colleen Murphy on receiving the 2014 Carol Bolt Award for her play Pig Girl during the Tom Hendry Awards ceremony held in Toronto on October 27th.

The Carol Bolt Award is presented annually to recognize the best work premiered by a Playwrights Guild of Canada (PGC) member in the past year. Pig Girl received its World Premiere at Theatre Network in Edmonton in 2013. Colleen is currently the University of Alberta Department of Drama Lee Playwright in Residence, and her play Armstrong’s War is scheduled to play at Theatre Network in April 2015.
