Audition (Leduc): Spirit Control by Beau Willimon – Leduc Drama Society

AUDITION NOTICE

Auditions for Leduc Drama Society’s 2015 Winter Drama – Spirit Control – will be held on Wednesday October 22 from 6:30-8:30 pm and Sunday October 26 from 4:30-7:00 pm. The audition process will be cold readings from the script and they will take place at:

Leduc Drama Society Playhouse
4701A 44 Street, Leduc AB

The show will be performed at the Maclab Centre for the Performing Arts in Leduc on February 6-8 and 12-14, 2015. The show requires two females and four males. See below for a synopsis.

A haunting drama, this play is written by Beau Willimon, the writer who developed the Emmy-nominated House of Cards for Netflix. Adam Wyatt has the perfect family and a perfect record as an air traffic controller. When the pilot of a small plane suffers a heart attack, Adam must talk a terrified passenger through an emergency landing. What happens next will link him inextricably to a woman he’s never met and set the life he once knew irrevocably adrift. Spirit Control is a chilling and mesmerizing look at how we navigate a crisis, and the demons that haunt us long after.
